The winery was built around 1750 and has been run by the young Alexander Gysler since 1999. His wife Heike Gysler actively supported him.
Both are dedicated to organic farming and work on biomechanics. They have received the DEMETER certification and therefore have to comply with the strictest regulations in organic farming.
The vineyards are located around Alzey-Weinheim. The vines grow on weathered sandstone soil. The climate of the Weinheim vineyards is somewhat cooler and the wind is stable, so that later ripening is necessary, making the wine lighter and more refined.
The philosophy, attitude and methodology of Weingut Alexander Gysler is the pursuit of purity and sincerity. Characteristics of dealing with nature and grapes are love and understanding. The wines carry the moments of your life and show their strong vitality and lively charm on the tongue.
